Bicycle course
Sanbangsan and Yeongmeori
The course starts at Sanbangsan and goes around along the beach before comes into the clusters of volcanic cones. Around Gwangmyeongsa Temple where the course starts, there are Yongmeori Beach and Hamel Merchant Ship Exhibition Hall. Sanbangsan Mountain and Dansan Mountain stand closely around the place, and Songaksan Mountain is well-known as the shooting location the Korean drama Dae Jang Geum, also known as Jewel in the Palace. Right beside the mountain lies the port that provides a passage to Marado Island and Gapado Island, and from any part of the coast along the course, visitors can see Hyeongjeseom (‘the Brothers Islands’).
